Lack of Activity

Everyone it seems that The Sims 3 World is seeing a lot of delays and no updates. I hope to start doing a lot of work on the site on my new macbook which may be tricky because composer and filezilla don't work the same on Mac, if they're even available in the first place.

But look forward to the finishing corners of the site soon, I love the sims and I always answer those who send me emails about the game!

Also: I wouldn't use the forums right now it seems they've been taken over by spam. ah! But hopefully sometime soon I can redo the forums and hopefully switch the site over to v.bulliten and word press but we'll see with the small amount of time I have left.

Our good friend, ManagerJosh is on the scene with tons of information.

* There’s a roof height slider.
* There’s a button that paints / carpets the entire room (instead of holding Shift).
* You can set the stair width.
* You can set light colors and brightness levels (both indoor and out).
* You can place objects against diagonal walls.
* You can rotate floor tiles.
* There is now a square terrain paint brush. Imagine using it to paint a sidewalk.
* Plants spawn with different sizes.
* Sims don’t need ladders to get in or out of the pool.
* You can change the floor / walls of a pool.

Unfortunately I was unable to attend, but Josh is doing a fantastic job at covering the event. I've been listening to his podcasts and reading his updates for hours!

What A Community!
On January 24 of 2004 I joined The Sims Resource, and this is was my entryway into the Simming community. I posted away in the forums with other eager fans awaiting The Sims 2, the mother of all games at the time. I would start a topic with titles like 'How many kids?' or 'What will your house look like?' I wanted to see if people would respond to my pot, what they said and how many responses I had. I was just 13 and eager to get myself known among some people in the community.
