There are Seven new screenshots of the Sims 3, please enjoy
Also, news feeds are all saying that EA has officially released the system specs. I located this site because they showed the official EA system specs the best, Boomtown.com.
The Sims 3 World is getting a chance to interview the band, Bang Camaro, who will be composing a song in Simlish for The Sims 3. The Interview will be published in the next few days but I wanted to give you an insight about this rising band. Bang Camaro isn't new to the video game industry. The band has songs in the games, Guitar Hero 2 and the Rock Band series.
This group of talented artists consists of one bassist, two guitarists and one drummer. And did I forget to mention the anywhere from ten to twenty vocalists the band has? The band has it's own perspective on their music. They play metal, but they play what they like and throw out what they don't. They're rising stars from Boston and along with an interview with them from The Sims 3 World, they will be appearing on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and releasing a new single every two weeks on 'Camaro Thursday'! Until the interview is published, please check out the band's official site and myspace page.
On the Sims 3 note, while checking upon some other sites, I came across this new video I found on the site, SimPrograms, check it out here:

MTV.com on The Sims 3
MTV.com had a great chance for a preview of The Sims 3. See a snippet below:
Easier house customization — Pearson promised that customizing one’s house in “The Sims 3″ was easier than before. The tools are the same, but they’ve made a few changes to help out the players, like being able to drag walls to make rooms bigger and smaller (versus manually building and deleting walls), and simplifying the ways players can paint walls and floors. For obsessive “Sims” players who might’ve been bothered by not being able to center a two-tile television in front of a three-tile couch, well, the dev team’s fixed that by allowing objects to be centered in the game.”Now you can actually center things!” Pearson said with enthusiasm. “And now you can set it up however you want — you can set things on diagonals and you can really get more realistic with things than you were able to do before.”

Ben Bell: Making of The Sims 3
Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been so busy with life and with Spore! But here is a new update and a new interview with Ben Bell, executive producer of the sims 3. You can read the entire interview with the developer here: VentureBeat.com
VB: How has the advancement of technology over the past five years helped you with The Sims 3?
BB: We’re in a great place as developers these days: Realism has been achieved. We can just focus on style and delivering seamless experiences so that the player can be completely immersed in their story. We’re going to give the player unprecedented control over the visuals in the game so that they have the same control that our artists have, right in the game. The new Create-A-Sim allows players to make just about any person they can imagine, and there are tools in the game that let you change the look of almost any surface on your Sim or in their home.
VB stands for VentureBeat and BB for Ben Bell.
Also everyone, look forward to the new Sims 3 world, a new site ready for action hopefully to come by the end of the year!

Welcome to the living, breathing neighborhood of The Sims 3! This shot right here is earlier dated but still shows what the developers are planning with the seamless limits of your sims to interact with those around them. Take note of the once again all new architecture of the building and also the large amount of people talking outside the shop. They don't look to 'smart' yet but perhaps things will change because if you see what I see then you'll notice that they're all sort of facing a different direction within a few feet of each other.
Pre-ordering The Sims 3 Collector's Edition opens you're window to awesome Sims 3 extras! (I'm getting mine!)
You get all these exclusive extras: - 2 GB The Sims Plumbob™ USB Drive - European Styled Sports Car Download - New Theme Music From The Sims 3 - An Exclusive Prima Tips & Hints Guide - The Sims 3 Neighborhood Poster
What A Community! On January 24 of 2004 I joined The Sims Resource, and this is was my entryway into the Simming community. I posted away in the forums with other eager fans awaiting The Sims 2, the mother of all games at the time. I would start a topic with titles like 'How many kids?' or 'What will your house look like?' I wanted to see if people would respond to my pot, what they said and how many responses I had. I was just 13 and eager to get myself known among some people in the community.
